We bid to 6 in an uncontested auction here. But at another table East opened 2 and NS ended up in 4+2.
Not sure our defence against multi would have done much better, probably leading to 3NT+.
How would your partnership bid as NS, given the multi opening?

2-X (13-15 bal ish or BIG)-2(P/C)-P-2-3(big hand)-P now not sure what N should do, he is too good for 3N, maybe 3 which works well and leads to 6, maybe 4N (nat) which leads to 6.

Slightly different from a 2 Ekren style

X-13-15 (semi)balanced or 19+
2-3 suited takeout
2-minors
2NT-16-18 (semi)balanced
3m-natural
3NT-Str minors

In this case start off with X or 3NT

We play 2 and 2 nat over a multi

2 - X (13-15 or BIG) - 3 pass or correct...however I still think that north/south can end in minor suit slam, more chance 6 as cyberyeti say

We play in S as if we knew E has a weak 2, which often works well but has the downside that S loses the chance to bid a natural 2. Not a lot of help here, however.

I hope they can end there too.
But I'm curious to see the actual bidding sequence and know what it means.

I interpreted this as both Majors, but over a single-suited Major

X-opening bid in a Major
--19-21 balanced
--19+ 3-suited
215-18 balanced
2- transfer
2NT- transfer
3-natural preempt
3-natural preempt
3/3 Major/Minor 5-5 8+ playing tricks (possibly 5-4)
3NT-22+ balanced

Most multis here are weak 2 in hearts or spades or strong balanced, some people include another strong option, elsewhere the weak only multi is more common

Well: (I miscounted N's points last time, I would actually have opened that)

2-X-2-2N(lebensohl, variety of good hands or bad with clubs)
P-4(nat too good to let you sign off in 3)-P-4N(nat ish shows one of the good hands thru leb, so basically an 11 count with no 5 card suit and almost certainly <3 clubs)
P-6

I should have specified this, sorry: weak 2 in hearts or spades, or strong 3-suit or strong diamonds (would that deter anyone from doubling?).

So would I. But CHO passed and luckily RHO too.

Well, you play multi against multi😅😅

I guess here with partner I’d X (13-15 bal or 19+), and partner bids 3NT over LHO pass or correct bid.

Now, I can safely bid 4C, which probably doesn’t thrive partner and she might persist in NT. Oh well, 6C anyway now I know the HK and some D goodies are there? I could try 5D en route to 6C and here it would work. But I’d not dare it undiscussed (forcing or not).

In this case transfer to and then bid 3
