Spielberg/Hanks would only make it horribly schmaltzy.

We need Bond wheeling out the Keycard. Add some top notch Bond-quality totty and now Bridge is cool!

I get your point about Bond. Tarantino, hmm maybe.

Well Hollywood is doing the gay movies. The next taboo to break should be the Bridge movies.
