Language BBO translations

Clear chat window (if right-clicking a name in the chat window) seems not to translate in BBO 5.0.0.

Also, it would be very helpful if the translators had a chance to preview the new translations. For example, there are occasionally space limits for text strings. And it happens that a string is used in a surprising context and gets mistranslated at first. :)
I just discovered a truly remarkable bidding system!
Sadly, this margin was too small to contain it.

Sorry about fogetting to include "clear chat window" in the translation web page, but this will have to wait for a future version to be fixed.

We do have a facility that allows translators to check their work. Send me an e-mail (fred@bridgebase.com) if you want instructions for how this works.

However, the same string is used (and translated) in Options -> More options... -> Chat -> Clear chat window.

You are correct. The explanation in my previous post was wrong (my mistake - sorry). This is a programming issue - not a translation issue. It would be trivial for me to fix this, but our current position is to not fix bugs unless they are serious. Creating a new version necessitates another round of testing and it is already taking longer to get the "new BBO" ready for general release than we had hoped.

This problem will be fixed of course, but unless some other more serious bug(s) are found it will not be fixed before our official release.
