If it's me vs me, the bidding will go as follows:

Hand 1:
1H - 1S - Pass - 2C
2D - 2S - 3D - 3NT
all pass or someone bids 4D

Hand 2:
2H - Dbl - 3H - 3S
Pass - 3NT - all pass

But then again, it's probably not the best way to bid in the beginner/intermediate forum, because I open pretty agressive when NV...

I think Luis got them both right (I agree with his auctions). So my reply is really more to address his issue of making things look a little better here.

Both of my auctions are the same auction as Luis gave. Luis, to make the hands look right, you have to stick them inside the code command (code) hands go here (/code) where square brackets are used instead of the ones I showed. Changing the font no longer seems to work, and HTML table commands do not seem to work either. Inserting the little card symbols uses the IMG command and a link to where you can find one of them, but if the page with the link goes away, so does the symbol. :) Thus, I will use just the Sp, Cl, He, Di, Ps, and NT for my bids.

Hopefully, someone will find a better trick than this.

I agree, looks fairly straight forward. On second hand depends on style, but after you bid 3Posted Image you will get to best spot. On first hand West has to understand that to have a play for 3 NT pd needs to have Ax or xx of Posted Image, and at least 2 quick tricks if you want to make 3 NT. And that is not looking good after the 2 Posted Image, so better sign of in 3 Posted Image. <_<
