You have to double. (And to preempt mike777, Larry Cohen would also "double wtp".)

oh well I thought is not good to use t/o with void. I suppose at this level if pard pass we ok with that.

Double - no other choices.
Pass is really bad. If you don't double on these hands, you will regularly get robbed blind.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

Double as you'll often have game. I wouldn't dream of not fighting for this hand.

The auction has gone 1♠ P 3♠, so they should have a 9 card fit. If partner's looking at 4 of them, hopefully he can count to 13. If he's looking at 3 of them, I doubt he'll leave it in.

This is different from RHO opening 2♠, where only 6 spades are known. There, doubling with a void is riskier.

Geez, I sound like I know what I'm talking about. You know better by now, I hope.

I think the warning not to double with a void is good, but it's not more than that. Here there is no reasonable alternative (there often isn't).

If you never double with a void then some hands are just too hard to bid. This is one of them.

The only "never" in bridge is "never say never".

Or as one of my partner's puts it "never" is synonymous with "occasionally".

We are red/white. I think on a spade lead (which seems normal enough) it's going to be down 3 and will be down 2 in practice much of the time.
