In celebration of April 15th, forum ranks have been updated!

Now taking ideas for next ranking system. Something fun or whimsical, yet clearly showing a train of progression will be nice.

I may do dog breed by size next if there's no better idea

Food chain rank

Bridge plays rank (where sure trick is the first and some kind of squeeze is the last)

Contract rank (from 1 to 7NTxx)

Distribution rank (from 4333 to 13000)

I'm back to work...

Dog breeds are fine with me. I believe dog breeds are often known by their English names in non-English-speaking countries so it should be intelligible.

Dog breeds?

Why?

What was wrong with the bridge hands?

Amazing what people bother to put on wiki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ficti...tomic_particles

I am missing two:
- "moron" which was a sub-atomic particle invented by winstonm to account for some of the nuclear reactions going on in the U.S. polical system
- "postludium" which was a highly explosive element, distilled by some evil criminal in a Donald Duck story

I dislike the dogs idea and stuff that is typical to many forums such as military ranks. And the tax idea is decent enough except some of those taxes only exist in the US (or at least in nations that are a federation of states).

It should either be funny, or bridge related, preferably both. I quite like the card play techniques suggestion. Maybe: Cash a trick, finesse, backwards finesse, end-play, unblock, squeeze, etc.
The difference between theory and practice is that in theory, there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice, there is.

Me 2.

They could be ordered by difficulty. Something like:

Cashing winners
Ruffing losers
Finesse
Pseudo squeeze
.....
.....
Devil's coup
Smother play
