Right now BBO shows me 19439 Player (an the number is growing).

Fine with that but it is still far below 1% of the bridge players.

There is still a very long way to go until bridge players have adopted the modern way of life.

We passed 20,000 around 19:30 GMT Wednesday. A day to remember, for sure.

Yes I was there .

I remember being there for the 10,000 record.

It happened to be the day when I first played the weak no trump 11-14.

My partner, a notorious overbidder, just loved this weak no trump thing, especially since the 1nt was weak we *upgraded* the 2nt opening to 15-17.

We also negleted to adjust the valus for responder, so yes, we were taking to 3nt with 10 hcp, routinely.

The score was -120 imps when Fred boradcast that BBO had achieved a new record.

I told my partner, IT is our score!, It is our score!

Silly me, it was the logins and my partner and i did not become famous.
