Assume no good bad 2NT or the like.

3NT or 4 or something else?

At first I liked 4C, then I stopped to think...dangerous for me.

RHO's non raise suggests partner has 3+spades, thus 7 or 8+ major suit cards, and so I just bid 3NT.

4 because I have clubs. RHO's silence doesn't mean anything to me.

4.

I think it's quite close as far as picking the best game, but 4 is better on the slam hands.

I like 3N.

It seems we need a magical diamond holding for 6m. A lot of our hand is in a doubleton, and even our stiff is across from some strength.

I think 3NT is much better than anything else.
Partner may still have 5(6?) hearts for his negative double. They didn't raise spades so he has 2-3-4 spades with 3 being the most common holding.
I think I slam will not be in sight often enough and we may end up in something silly if he has :

J7xx AQTx J9x xx
QTx KQTxx 9x Qxx

or even something stronger like :
xx AQ8xx A9x xxx

That being said I accept that sometimes slam is a laydown and often 5 in a minor is making along with 3nt...

Hi,

I would go with 3C, which is certainly a bid with brakes on, but partner
knowes, that I am in a tough spot.

With kind regards

Tough between 3NT and 4, I like 4 with the higher upside.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

IMO 3N = 10, 4 = 8, 3 = 6, _P = 4, 3 = 3.

Which to do first? Show 2xS-stops ->3NT or Bid out this interesting shape? I like 4C if I can 4NT showing S-stops. If 4NT is artificial, 3NT now. It is a jump. Maybe partner sees D-AK golden for slam try.

Yep, with a chunky diamond fit and original game values, partner will be pulling 3NT for slam. There are club slams that might be missed, but I am sticking with the jump to 3NT. Partner is not barred.
