Has there been any consideration of adding audio commentary to Vugraph?

Yeah, this has been on the "wish list" for a LONG time. I'd guess it will not be in place within 10 weeks, but will be in place within 10 years.
Most events that BBO covers will also have an "on site" vugraph. It should not be *that* difficult to hook the microphone up to some computer equipment then broadcast if not directly through BBO then through some weblink. Seems less likely that BBO will ever have live audio from Roland Wald Richie Reisig etc.

One of our largest monthly $ expenses is bandwidth that BBO
uses and adding voice to vugraph would greatly increase our
bandwidth needs.

I expect voice will be part of several aspects of BBO before
too long, but we have no plans to add voice support in the
immediate future. If and when this happens, we will have to
find some way to get around the cost problems (perhaps
people who want voice will have to pay some hourly BB$
fee or perhaps the cost of bandwidth will plummet).

Also, I'm sure there are commercial services (i'd hope there are) that would allow our commentators to dial into a (say) 800 number and issue commentary that could be accessed via internet streaming feeds.

I have no idea if such services exist. If someone wants to look into it maybe we could try it as an experiment once and see if this works for us all.
