RHO opens 1

Do you bid 2?

IMPs, they're not vulnerable, you're either vulnerable or you're not.

Mind you, this thread is not trying to make a point. Just wondering what y'all would do.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

The variation from the other thread is the vulnerabilities. IMO, it is much too early in the auction to unilaterally decide this hand wants to be in game because of vulnerability and IMP odds. So, to me, there is nothing here which wasn't hashed out in the other thread.

Edit: OOPs, couldn't read the auction; got confused by mention of "2/1" in different context; whatever other excuse I can think of :)

I don't suppose Gwnn will save me by editing the post to "CHO".

I think AH missed that RHO opened 1, not partner.

I would bid 2 r/w and definitely w/w, if you took a black spot and moved it to hearts now I would feel a little dirtier about it.
I once yelled at my partner for discarding the 'wrong' card when he was subjected to a squeeze that I allowed by giving the wrong count with too high a card. Now he's allowed to pitch aces when the opponents have the king in the dummy. At trick 2. When he could have followed suit. And blame me.

Move to Southern Iceland Gwnn?

I would pass. Don't like my singleton A and the suit is awful.

I don't 2/1.
I still don't know about 3 (assuming it's natural invite). It looks bizarre but I haven't thought about it yet and I am not sure if it's terrible.

Yes I think it's so bizarre that noone in the would plays this treatment.

I can't bid 2D anymore on hands like this. I blame Justin.
