This is not a bug, but I'm hoping to learn something about opening leads.

This was the auction at 6 of the tables, and at all 6, East led ♣J. At 3 tables, South bid 3♠ instead of 2♠, and North raised to 4♠. At those, East led ♥Q. What makes one lead right in one situation and the other lead right in the other?

If you're hoping to learn something about opening leads,
it is unlikely you will learn anything from GIB's lead choices
which are generally terrile especially against NTs.

Even if responses are "GIB's choice is wrong because...", I can learn something.

You probably need to look into GIB's source code, if you have access to it...
