To make a nige1 post, 3 = 10, 2 = 9, P = -1000

I don't feel too strongly about 3 over 2, but this has a smidgen too much playing strength for what I use for 2 bids.
I once yelled at my partner for discarding the 'wrong' card when he was subjected to a squeeze that I allowed by giving the wrong count with too high a card. Now he's allowed to pitch aces when the opponents have the king in the dummy. At trick 2. When he could have followed suit. And blame me.

2 is ridicoulous, at first or third I'd open 4 but at second position I better don't, extrange as it sounds I think about pass as a close option to 3.

EDIT: I missread the vulnerability.

Aren't we red vs white? You would open 4H in 1st seat fluffy? Ok...seems amazingly awful.

I'll go with agree with wank!

So far today on the a/e forums I've learned that Jx AKQxx xx Jxxx is a 2H opener r/r in 2nd seat, and x QJT9xx x Axxxx is a 4H opener r/w in 1st seat (but only 3 in 2nd!). Interesting, who knew.

Is this a 2-seat 1S psych?
There's 23 points at least to come out.
Hope partner has few and H-fit.

i agree with justin for the 4th thread in a row.

2H red/white should means something. a very solid hand counts as something.

I would pass + bid 2NT later. Certainly wouldn't mind 4 and certainly not 2/3, as pard is likely to pass that with game on, say
