Did your old computer have Windows XP and does your new computer have Windows 7/Vista?
In that case your would have trouble, because you don't have the proper permissions to access "C:\Bridge Base Online".

Welcome to the forums pedeye.
Is there a specific reason you need your files transfer, instead of just downloading and installing BBO again? (For older BBO version)
No need to do anything if you were using new BBO, just go to www.bridgebase.com as usual to use. Most played hands are already stored there by default.
Is it for friends list? friends list is stored in BBO, so you don't need to transfer.
Is it for convention card or "hand results"?
I think these 2 are the likely reasons.
Hand results - see if you can access it here.

Convention card...hmm. If you have access to old computer still, copy the convention files and email yourself.
Then after you download the old version of BBO again, go into that folder, and paste your emailed file there.
Overall, it's much easier if you try the new BBO and get used to it...
