I love the discard of club on the diamond (a card covering a winner) which is the key failure, If GIB really believes that hearts are 3-1 offside then it makes no difference if you cash a second heart after the heart lead as the off-suits have already been broken to be cashed.

Was this a smart or dumb bot?

When you play with the free bots on the first of the month, they're dumb. There were lots of stupid plays like this reported that day, I suspect this was the reason.
