There are two (normal) ways to present hands in the forum: with the hand diagram tool and the ♠x ♥AKQJ ♦AKQJ ♣AKQJ style. Seeing as both end up as pretty similar strings of text, I wonder if it's possible to add a setting that would convert display of hand diagrams to the inline forum and vice versa. It should be easy* when there's only one hand and no auction, and it's not very difficult to scale up to displaying four hands (properly laid out so it's easy to see who's North etc).
Not super-important, but it recently came to my attention some people prefer the hand diagram tool, and I personally think that for showing a single hand, it takes up too much screen real estate.

* Not familiar with IPBoard, but I'm assuming it's as well-designed as other popular forum software
