Jack start 3 sp 3nt made. wbridge5 start 2h 3nt-1. 12 imp for jack

Wbridge5 go down 1. Jack leave the double wbridge5 plays 1 spX -3 (only -2 in DD)14 imp for jack.
Sometimes the simple hands make more damage than slam not declared.

Something about this appears to be backwards. Is this supposed to say: "Jack leads 3; 3NT down 1. wbridge5 leads 2; 3NT makes. 12 imp for jack" ?

Sometimes the small typos make even more damage than the hands themselves :P

I think the OP is just not familiar with the conventions for naming cards. And for all I know, when they write about cards in Italy they say 3 rather than 3.

And I don't think his mistake really caused much damage. I doubt many people were confused for more than a minute.

It's not about naming cards. It's about who was on lead and whether or not the contract made.
