5. I play removal to 5M on this sequence as encouraging, so I am somewhat light for this action.

But I'm not prepared to gamble a pass, so I will just have to hope this works out OK, one way or another.

Wish I had a 5-5 MM not strong bid over 3D and got this offensive
hand into this auction then. Now I wish a MM bid cheap enough, No Such Bid.
5S it is. Joining what I sense is a chorus on this 6-5 "come alive" hand.

I'd bid 6 asking partner to bid a Major. Such a nice Major oriented hand, first round control , and partner doubles at 5-level, what else do we need for slam?

I'd bid 5
"Genius has its own limitations, however stupidity has no such boundaries!"
"It's only when a mosquito lands on your testicles that you realize there is always a way to solve problems without using violence!"

"Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say."

IMO it makes perfect sense at MP to consider pass since p may have
nothing more than 3 aces and a desire to improve their lot in life with
a penalty x.

AT IMPS such a strategy makes no sense. p would need at least 4 tricks
for an x of 5d to make any real sense and therefore our 5s bid makes a
lot more sense. P will realize we bid this because we feel it has a great
chance to make opposite their expected 4 tricks and can bid accordingly.
The fact we could not bid over 3d helps to limit what our hand looks like.
