I like to email hand discussion, is there a way to include an image of the hand (you get the option of a url with a jpeg or a download) without having to take a screenshot? If there isn't and you want to add it as an option, you should add various options like displaying selected hands instead of them all, sending a screen of the hands after trick 5 and so on.

I don't see how to get a .jpg via that option. I want to embed hands in an email or text document.

Misunderstood your question. If you want a .jpg, then the only way is via screen capture or photograph.

Sending the handviewer link seems like more useful functionality. If you just want an image, the existing screen shot facilities in every OS suffice, so there's little reason for us to provide our own.
