Assume that it is IMPs. What is your call?
(is it different at MPs)

There's only one call I really hate and that's Dbl. I have maybe 1.5 tricks, which means we need partner to have 2.5 tricks to defeat the contract. Btw, with such a hand partner may Dbl 4 himself. I think I'd bid 5, although pass is definitely a good alternative imo.

both hands and the bidding:

Missed 6.
I wondered how far South should stretch, knowing that North will have some -length and probably pass it out?

I hope to have an understanding partner and bid 5C fully aware this may not work out. Double as a choice has no appeal to me even though it might work out. There is no assurance that my RHO holds a weak hand, so I feel this is risky, but on the other hand, I do have a lot of offense and may buy great.
