Actually 3 with 6-card long suit should be a best spot and a playable contract for Gib,after my penalty double,Gib W run away, and rebid 3 wrongly -- repeat bidding same values twice, then Gib E run away ,select 4,very bad, obviously this is an unsuccessful guess.

Something is internally inconsistent about the descriptions of East's bids. Can he really have 4+; 4+; 10+total points and pass after 1?

The problem is in the description, and the programming fitting that description. 3C in this auction would always show a 6 card or longer suit. "4+" is nonsense. This is one of GIB's worst and most commonly appearing weaknesses. Of course the 4D call over the 3 times bid H suit is far worse, whoever programmed it to bid like that should be fired!
