Let's see, what should the robot know about my hand?

It should know I have fewer than 3 (and probably only 2) because I ran from 2, which promised 6.

It should know that I have 3-4s, because I bid the suit.

It should know that I have fewer than 5s because I would have opened that suit with equal or greater length than in s and I can't be 5-6 and hold 3+s.

Therefore, it should know that I have at least 4 and probably 5 because with 4-1-4-4 or 3-2-4-4 I would have opened 1.

So it could logically pass 2 or bid 3. It should know that 3 is going to be a 5-2 fit at best, not to mention that it does not have nearly the "twice rebiddable" suit that it is promising.

Or is this further evidence that the robot has amnesia about everything that happened in prior rounds of bidding and knows only what the notes for the current round contain? Even so, shouldn't it pass 2 knowing that we have at least a 4-3 fit and that we don't have enough for game?

I am extremely reluctant to open these hands 1 because holding 2-3 in the minors the robot has been prone to giving a preference to 2 rather than passing 2.
