If maybe you will tell me the standard of Gib opening at one level is 11-21hcp and 12-22 TPs,may I ask you several questions on it?
Does Gib depend on HCP or TP?
Now please look at this hand at first.
For this hand,Gib should have 12hcp,but only have 11 TPs.
1- If It depend on HCP,opening 1♥ is no problem.
2-If TPs,opening 1♥ is not qualified.
Today I have played so many Gib hands,I have to say that I really don't know what's the standard of Gib opening.
Even though Gib system claim opening at one level should have "11-21hcp,12-22TPs",really? Now look at my evidence hands.
A-hand
At 3rd seat,Gib don't open ,even with 11hcp and 11TPs.
If maybe you tell me that it is a minor suit with 11hcp,so don't open at one level.
Now I can give another example hand.
B-hand
At 3rd seat,Gib don't open,even with 5-card ♠,11hcp and 11TPs,especially with three quick tricks!
If maybe you also tell me that that ♠ suit is bust,so don't open at one level.
Now I can give another example hand.( I played it at yesterday)
C-hand
At 3rd seat,Gib don't open,even with decent 5-card ♠,11hcp and 11Tps,especially with 2.5 quick tricks!
Now,who can tell me what's the standard of Gib opening at one level? HCP? TP?
