-2♣ should be natural after the first x and I think a better choice
-after my third double he really just pass and not "cuebid" 4♥. 3♥x is down one, maybe lucky but if they make I'm happy to take the blame.

Is it really possible to make a third takeout double in one auction, when partner didn't pass either of the first two?

Excuse me. I wonder what 2♥ by North would show over XX after East has opened 1♥ and West has shown 3card support with his redouble. That should be the 11+ bid.
