Yes GIB, I heard the checkback.
Yes GIB I heard your clubs. (and your implicit 5 card spade length, and implicit 5 card club length)
No GIB I dont have 3S or I would have bid them over 3C.
The final 4S is a mistake.

Well, the main problem is that 3nt should be defined as 2 spades exactly, not 2-3. I don't mind so much if GIB wants to play 4♠ in a 5-2 after simulation if it thinks it scores better on average, simulating against exactly 2♠.

I would prefer it to be defined as 1-2 Spades.
THAT should stop it from pulling.

Although I prefer a style where 1nt can be rebid on singleton, I don't think GIB plays that way and they'd have to adjust a lot of things to play that style. And I'm not so sure that pulling to 4♠ is a clear error on the hand, I guess it really depends on whether South ever judges to bid 3♠ on doubleton honor or whatever based on red suit holdings, or will bid 3nt somewhat automatically without spade fit.
After all, imagine the hand with CK offside, HK offside on a heart lead. 3nt could easily be down, losing 2-3H, 2D, CK with 4♠ pretty icy. On the actual hand it just is really unlucky with the 6-0 spade break.
