Both the "cheaper minor" and jump to slam make no sense.

This hand is not really strong enough to open 2, obviously it is a classic hand to open 2 wrongly.

Yeah, with 22 total points, GIB would most likely say 1 is a better opening since the rebid option of 3 would show that hand quite nicely. It only likes to open 2 with 22 total points if it thinks it has better options for how to show its hand that way.

Also strictly speaking it does have enough points to go for 6 given your bids.

The cheaper minor bid is completely wrong. The jump to slam after a cheaper minor makes zero sense.

I think 2C opener is fine. The descriptions allow for fewer HCP with good distribution. And yes, 3C seems quite inferior to 2S over 2H but I must say that 6H over 3H isn't a bad description, even if inconsistent.
