Apparently raising to 3S only promises something like 12-15 which is too little. It should show extras, maybe something like 16-18 total points?
But raising to 4s shows 24+ HCP!! That's too much.

Also no immediate raise really with 11 cd fit?

ugh. So 3h is like 14-23 hcp???
Suggest 3h = 17-19 TP, 4h=20-23TP maybe.

And original bug posted still not fixed.

Frustrating that these old bugs no action taken.
Takeout doubles are frequent auctions, should be higher priority fixes IMO, especially issues we've been complaining about for half a decade. Besides these range raise fixes, include:
- advancing in unbid major higher priority than minor, even if minor is longer
- not have advancer cue bid so often, higher priority for inv jumping in suit or jumping to game in suit when holding only one of two unbid majors

Sorry it hasn't been fixed sooner. In that situation, as a "hack" until whenever this is worked on, you might check on the definition of doubling again, or of cuebidding 4♥. Maybe one of those actions at least shows a hand of your approximate strength and may allow you to hedge better.
