A friend of mine asked me to post a question. When they could play in person, they had two tables playing duplicate bridge twice a month. Now they play online and can only compare IMPs. Is there a way for eight people to play duplicate on BBO? I hope I phrased that right; does this question make sense?

"Duplicate" is not synonymous with "match pointed pairs". A game is "duplicate" if the score at one table is compared to the score at one or more other tables.

That said, whether match pointed pairs games are available on BBO I don't off the top of my head remember.

You can play Match-point teams matches - Sometimes called Point a Board (UK) or Board a Match (US).
