Here the bot decided to bid 3N, but on other occations I have seen the bot bid 4♥ on the same type of hand (ie 5♥431)

I wonder if the initial pass might make a difference

Not really sure what the question is. If it bids 3NT with another hand, would need to know what the other hand was to see what the difference was.

[edit]Oops, sorry, I misread and thought 4♥ and 3NT were the other way around. My robot simulates and finds 4♥ a clear favorite with this hand. I guess we can go back to the old argument of a poor set of simulations..

Difficult for me to find the actual board, but I remember the bot bidding 4♥ instead of 3N with ♥KTxxx in the same situation, as I was thinking it was a nice (and correct bid)

But I must go thru the boards I have played the last 3 weeks :-)
