I noticed that no more bridge software are made.
Jack 6 and Wbridge5 are still.
For teaching there are only the old software of Kantar and Lawrence.
Some software that were freely on the web have the pages that have disappeared.
Can you give an explanation?

A desire to earn money?
Free software is increasingly rare and suspect in all fields.

AFAIK, Jack is not free. Still, there are several online bridge sites where you can play against robots for free, even if the robots tend to be much worse than the best standalone programs. That severely decreases the market for a paid standalone program, probably to the point it doesn't make economic sense to try to develop a new one.

I like QPlus but it too has demo and paid :)

Who knows who the world champion software is these days
Maybe there is not enough R and D budget or people available

I seriously tried to get the energy to look at some of the available code bases around and see if I could add anything - not sure my brain is up to it :)
