Tournament Would not show in Competitive Tournament Creation

After several years of holding Club tournaments on BBO, we had a new problem on Friday.
We were alerted by members on the day who could not find the tournament to register there entry.
Normally the tournament shows up two hours prior to the start time and members have been able to register.
Upon checking the tournament using the Director tab, the tournament showed up as pending for the correct date and time.
However, when we checked the list of tournaments showing as pending under competitive, our tournament was not listed.
We suspected some sort of bug in the tournament creation, so deleted that tournament and created a new tournament from scratch.
Still the tournament did not show as pending under competitive.
We have no idea what happened here, any ideas?
