Chat keyboard not appearing Keyboard works on one Tablet but not on the latest

I have a new Samsung A9+ tablet. When I use chat The keyboard usually comes up the first time then it doesn't come up again until I log out and in again. Sometimes it doesn't appear at all. The massage box appears but no keyboard.
My older tablet works all the time. Can you help me please?
