3S and then Undo to 1S, anyone? :)

There is also Pass (at least for the pair who scored top here).

1S-2C
2NT(6+S)=3S or 4S???

Very interesting bidding problem
South has all those keys, in context extra Hcp for the 2/1 bid, yet has a minimum adjusted 7LTC hand. I have not run into this situation actually at the table

Will South apply the brakes??

"balanced or "?
You have no inferences about possible 3 or 4 card support of spades in either case?

"Directorrrr"

Last time I looked balanced hands can contain 3. I did miss out the game invitational piece though.

And did it cost you anything to say "balanced, even with 3 card support of spades"?
And would you have bid differently with clubs or balanced holding 4 card support of spades?

Alert, what's that?
Game forcing, clubs or balanced, if balanced clubs could be a short as 2
Do we really need to spell out that balanced with as few as 2 clubs could contain 3 spades?

Same bidding with clubs, with 4 card support we have Jacoby available, all we be disclosed if ops ask for more information,
or they can read the &CC. I want to ask, why all these questions during our GF auction when you have no intention of bidding?

2C for me, but this is precisely the only shape with fewer than 4 clubs that we're bidding 2C on.

What's next

I mean it is not the best 2NT despite the points

Opener rebids 4 spades minimum

My point was about the undisclosed inferences from the bid not made of Jacoby (plenty of balanced or clubs hands have 4 card spades).
But I realise that explaining inferences is not a big thing in ACBL (even if mandated by law) and that maybe all your opponents would assume rightly that you do play Jacoby.

Back to the hand, sorry.
