Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Neil Young...., or something classical.   Wait, these guys are all so old that their music probably qualifies as classics??

Pink Floyd's "Pulse" is one of my favorite CDs for the long
bridge sessions. A few time ago I terribly missplayed 3NT
while I listened these lyrics from "Brain Damage"...

"There's someone in my head but it's not me"......

THAT WAS TRUE!!!! ;)

Jeff Lynne's "Armchair Theatre", best neglected album of the 80s.

Listen to "Every Little Thing" a coupla times and watch how awake and alert you are!

Somehow missed this thread until now!

Queen, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, White Stripes, Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, Razorlight, YourCodeNameIs:Milo

If I start singing along, it usually means my play is suffering...it usually means my housemates are suffering too.

2500+ songs on my iPod (all legal) - your guess is as good as mine - could be Enya, Eminem, Mozart or Metallica.

I seem to be in a bit of a minority.
Until last week my computer hard disk had a bit on an emphasis on 'B', as it had:
Bruckner symphonies 6,7,8,9
Bach B-minor mass, magnificat
Beethoven piano sonatas
(and some other stuff by Haydn, Handel, Mendelssohn and Elgar).
But! Our hard disk broke, we've just replaced it, and the new one has no music at all on it yet. I think I'll go back to Schubert piano sonatas & string 4tets for a while, haven't listened to them for ages.

Lately been gravitating into a mellow phase: Badly Drawn Boy and Ben Folds are really appealing right now........
