Dear fellow follower of saint Ken Rexford,

I just saw in the calendar that today is the most important public holiday of the year.

Let's all join in expressing our belief in early cue-bidding, xango doubles and all the other inovations that have enriched our lives in recent years.

I'm curious to know how this special day is celebrated around the World. Here in Lancaster we celebrate it by a "why lose at bridge" workshop for beginners.

Hey Ken. Wish you lived close by. Would head down to the coffee shop, say hello and maybe play a few hands. Thanks for keeping the spirit of bridge alive here. Cheers!

Here in Sand Springs, we celebrate KR Day by denying that it exists - pretty much what we do with any other serious world problem.

Happy birthday Ken :)

Well, it's not exactly my Birthday...
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

I am definitely celebrating, and we plan to make a day of it here. Fortunately it falls on Saturday.

Actually, we celebrate it much like Steve Martin celebrated the arrival of the new phone book in "The Jerk".
