5th trump and shortage = 4 for me.

However, I do not believe my 4 bid shows a control there, that is just a coincidence (except for it being part of why I value the hand).

Ask yourself: Would you bid 4H without the Ace of spades
and do you believe, that you can make 4H?

The main purpose of bidding 4D is not to make a move toward
slam, but to tell p, that you are bidding 4H with the intention
to make.
It creates a forcing pass sequence, which will help the partnership
to find the right decision, if 3D gets raised to 5D.

This just comes down to how your partnership splits the 4/4 ranges. That is more important to talk about than what you would bid on this hand.

I agree with no monkey option. Do something. Minimal upbid concern, minimal 'tell partner' values, 4H.

Uwe just because you'd do something with an ace less doesn't make the same action wrong. You have two bids for hands that would like to be in game, so surely both intervals are at least as wide as an ace difference.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

The main reason to bid 4 is to set up a forcing pass at the 5 level.
