Robot Question

Played in a robot tournament today (.25 cent) I opened 1NT, I (no interference) bot said 2C (Stayman) I said 2D, bot bids 3H...what does the bot have?

7 points, 3 spades and the stiff QH!!! (Yes, we ended up in 6 or 7 clubs!)

Somebody gotta splain that one to me.

Sounds like Invitational Reverse Minor Suit Smolen :blink:

it is supposed to be "Smolen (forcing to game with 4 of the suit bid and 5 of the other major) "

So you're saying the bot had at least 4 clubs and five spades? The bot had 3 spades, 4 clubs and 1 heart...

I can't recall the bots ever psyching Smolen like this. Are you sure it didn't bit 3♥ immediately? The bots use 1NT-3♦/♥/♠ as a splinter.
