So far so good

I hear different sounds for different happenings

Did not have to reboot nor any other issues installing

The award system works,I've seen a few players with a big "2" on their profile

And the "phone rings" every time someone message

Finished tourneys and ongoing tourneys appear on top of list

:)

A=the person who has won the most mps (nancylh)
K=the rest of the top 10
Q=the rest of the top 50
J=the rest of the top 100
10=over 1000 masterpoints
9=over 500 masterpoints
8=over 300 masterpoints
7=over 200 masterpoints
6=over 100 masterpoints
5=over 50 masterpoints
4=over 20 masterpoints
3=over 5 masterpoints
2=over 1 masterpoint
[COLOR=blue]

A little confused about the A-K-Q-J
Are those above 1000 masterpoints or are those the 100 players with most masterpoints at any given time ?

Meaning the players who get assigned a K are 2-10 on the ranking?

The top 100 masterpoint winners all receive either A, K, Q, or J
symbol regardless of the total number of masterpoints they have.

Everyone else with at least 1 masterpoint gets a 2 through 10 symbol.

the tourneys in play at the top, worth the upgrade just on its own ;)

I only have one snag, when I try level 5 in bridgemaster, I encounter a net vu prob and it closes down, have you set it to eject people that cant complete it in less than 50 attempts Fred?

apart from that it seems like normal, "another good step forward"

one thing though, if you can make the tourney tables in play appear at the top automaically, can you do a similar thing with tables that are half full and waiting for players, appear at the top, this may be quite handy as I have to select dont show full tables. to see what tables are waiting for players :)

I do not like the suggestion to place tables with free seats at the top of the main bridge club list, as this causes the list to change more, and you do not find a specific table as easily as now. Please leave this like it is.

Hello :)
Didn't write here for a long time, didn't have much to say ;)(
Anywayyyyy, i did download the new version 3.8.2, and all was fine at first..... but after a while I noticed a few glitches.....

1- My screen was moving from left to right
2- My computer slowed down quite a bit (coincidence maybe)
3- This was the worst actually: i got a prompt that there wasnt enough memory for "this program" (and I got that prompt quite a few times and couldnt log back in after wards)

I had to delete a bunch of temporary files, reboot, and now, so far so good....

I am not sure this is due to the new version, but all this happened after I downloaded it.....

I wonder if any of you encountered the same problems.....

Other than that, looks good :blink:

Aisha,

Sounds like you have the world's worst virus on your computer. The name of this virus is "windows." Good luck with all that.

It was a good idea to place the running and finished tourneys at to top ot the tourneys list. But if I view that list from a table, I would prefer the old sequence as this enables me to see if there have new tourneys been scheduled or how much time is left for the tourney where I am registered. With the old sequence this was avialable with a single mouseclick.

I tend to agree with Mink on that one..... it's a bit of a hassle..... i prefer the old sequence also....

P.S. maybe we could vote?

You mean like on OKbridge? :rolleyes:

When I put the tournament list in the chat window, I'd like to be able to go to a tournament by clicking on it, rather tha having to go back to the lobby (which may take multiple steps) then click on play bridge and then tournaments, etc.

PS My vote would be for the new listing order -- it was a pain to scroll through tournaments that might be days away in order to get to the current or recently completed ones.

One small option I would have found uselful is regarding people I have marked as Friends.

Being able to set individually the notification,because now it's either having to click away the bubble every time a friend comes on,or not being alerted at all.

I would also like to see all my Friends in lobby view if I choose a lobby filter like only players from my country,and not just the Norwegian friends.
