A simple raise by opener sends GIB to 4NT?

Given GIB passed the first round, gotta to pass 4NT no matter what its supposed to mean.

If it was a human then he could hold

Not a wise raise given that the spades are so good just rebid them or jump to game.

Also, the human is just as responsible. WTF was 5?! And 6?!

And thank GIB for not bidding 7NT instead.

What kind of tournament is this? Two humans playing against a human/robot pair?

You can rent a robot to play with in open tables.

Simple ace and king count.

That may be the case, but GIB plays RKC here as far as I know. GIB was thinking partner has 4 Keycards and there were two Ks I assume.

Still, leaping to 4N is atrocious... Passing is also very bad. There may be a 6-5 type that partner decided not to open, and now playing in 4N certainly does not seem like a good option.

This was an Automated Express tournament, where Robots replace players who play too slowly.

Sorry, I didn't intend to start an "attribute the blame" thread; I was just hoping to point out an atrocious bid (4NT) by GIB in the hopes of (i) finding out what logic led him to make that bid, (ii) letting other players know about this odd logic, and (iii) requesting a programming modification to eliminate this logic.
