Perhaps you should say a bit about your credentials so that people will have an idea of what you mean when you say "strong".

Live game credentials near 0 , as I played like 5 times live.(From a small town, wasn't able to play bridge last year when moved to the city.Btw, simultanously I'm gonna start some live game nowadays) Been self learning since I was 12 ,so for 8 years now. Started from the lowest level on-line willing to play better players than me and after some time beat them. As I reached some level it's harder to find same strength/better pairs/players to play non random games (esp. as long as I have no live credentials). I have always been interested in systems ,so consider myself decent in this area. Analysed Meckwell, Bocchi- Dubboin , various nat and precision systems +wj . What I consider my strength is right now in on-line bridge is having a reg P who plays a lot , so we develop our skills , style of our pair and I'm reinventing the system all the time to fit the style more (actually I just have fun doing this + it makes my bidding better). I won Unibridge Club a couple of times when I was 1,5 class worse . Won JBBO being like 4 classes worse.(rarely playing this tour since than) Charlie Weed gave me a permission to play JEC ,but I'm never ready ,lol . I treat those games as a training before playing against JEC team and live game. Btw , if someone is not motivated enough we can play 2$ per imp - 50 brds to go . A pair can surrender before those 50 brds paying 15 $ to the other pair. We could play higher stakes ,but I think those are just ok not to be worth cheating. ( For 95% ppl)

Me and my partner always play thursdays 21:30 GMT (22:30 CET) and look for good opponents. If you happen to see me at that time ask me.
Not interested on playing for money.

Unless its against your religion playing for your own money is by far the best way to become a better player. I used to play club games making side bets, say a dollar per one percent score difference. If you bet against enough pairs a 40% session can really teach you a lesson.

I understand your point zenko, but since cheating online is extremelly easy, I won't be comfortable playing for money, not only because my opponents might cheat, but because I might feel tempted also.
Playing for money in my city has ruined the skill of a friend of mine, the only money bridge avaible here is goulash and he ain't now as good as he was before he started to play. On the other hand I have won several thousand euros playing match point tournaments, an overtrick once cost me (and my father combined) 800 dropping from 2nd place to 7th.

If it was safe I'd propose higher stakes. While 2$ wldn't be ,imo for 90-ish% players worth cheating . Not worth the danger of loosing reputation like this. Although such a game shldn't be a bigger lose than 100$ I think it's a great motivator ,because U don't loose 25 imps ,but 50$ and now it's in your head : I lost 50$! in this FRIENDLY game of bridge and I'm so good how is this poss ...
We'll probably be there tommorrow for the game fluffy, not 100% sure ,because I'm having some disease today. Wish it'll be better.

Well, although during most time of the match it was even we finally lost to Fluffy. Abt 32 brds -18 imps and lost abt 16 in last 2. Lacked condition a bit, but that's a poor excuse. We're just starting our games against tough pairs ,so I'm sure it'll be better with some doze of experience. Opps said that it was fun ,so I'm glad abt this game though the score. Looking for some more players eager to play. ;] Cya
