bah, sports :(.

whales do actually eat sharks, killer whales might kill great whites, or whatever, killer whales eat anything, even much bigger whales, the only one I am not sure is about the shark whale

Shark whale? Do you mean whale shark (Rhincodon typus)? This is a filter feeding shark; it eats plankton and such, much like a filter feeding whale. Do orcas (killer whales) attack/eat them? Well, from wikipedia:

Quote

In July 1992, two killer whales attacked, killed and fed on an 8-metre (26 ft) long whale shark, Rhincodon typus, in the waters off Bahia de los Angeles in Baja California.

yeah suspected so, I saw on TV how 8-10 killer whales kept biting a giant blue or grey for like 10-20 minutes, then they stopped biting and left leaving her bleeding, not sure if it survived.

Canucks 2 Sharks 0

Whale Sharks are the largest fish in the ocean. I was lucky enough to dive with one on off the West Coast of Australia, they are an unbelievable size. And of course, the Killer Whale or Orca is not a whale at all but the largest member of the dolphin family.

And since this is the NHL conference finals, I'll hijack here instead of asking in the Q&A thread:

How many whales would you estimate have been struck by lightning in open waters in history? Does it kill them or are they insulated with enough blubber or something to protect them? Are they smart enough to sense electrical storms in the atmosphere and attempt to maximize their time in deep waters to avoid being near the surface?
