The robot declarer seemed to make two errors in trump management:
- failure to draw the last trump before playing side suit so risking a ruff,
- failing to ruff high to avoid a possible over-ruff.

The robot got away with it this time, but its play appears to be a failure of basic trump management.

For ruffing off suit, it assumed north must still have diamonds to have doubled 3 diamonds. For not drawing the trumps earlier, I don't see any good reason for that.

GIB often risks low-probability ruffs, because its play is based on simulations, not more intelligent analysis. If none of the hands in its simulations could ruff, it doesn't think it matters what order it plays. The 2 rounds of spades only risk a ruff if North is 1=3=5=4, which may not have come up in the sims.
