2NT. If IMPs I want to make an effort to get to the 3NT game. If MPs and game is declined, 2NT if made will score better than 2+1. Not without risk of going beyond our last makeable contract though.

I think 2NT is a very poor bid. You are wrong siding any NT contract to start with and your C stopper is not robust either. Further your partner has shown a minimum with her rebid. I believe you have 2 options - pass and 3D. 3D looks really odd with a singleton, but it is is the s/t Knave after all. Pass also looks odd, but it could very well be a winning call at MPs. So 3D at Imps and Pass at MPs.

I like 3 too but would only do it vulnerable at IMPs, otherwise pass.

Would either pass or bid 2N depending on opening bid style and vul/form of scoring.

I bid 2NT just in case partner has a maximum hand or we find a good 4. 2/3NT is not going to play well, because we have slow tricks in 2 suits with entrance problems.

Definitely pass at MPs. An unhappy 2N vul at IMPs.

Probably pass NV at IMPs. Maybe's they will balance with 2. (yum).

I pass in almost every situation. The only exception would be red at imps, when the game bonus is too valuable...the good news is that the opps's silence, my chunky hearts, and the diamond J all mean that they probably can't double even if 3N has zero play.

My invite is 2N. While I am usually big on right-siding notrump, this hand looks to me more like 2N than 3....3 suggests I'm hoping for 3N if partner likes my diamond raise....2N suggests I'm hoping for 3N if partner likes his hand given that I didn't raise diamonds....a subtle difference, perhaps, but a difference all the same.

2 NT for me at imps.

3. Apart from the matter of rightsiding, this will probably also be the right partscore. I'm happy for partner to make his decision based on his diamond holding - the black suits are so bad that we're likely to need the diamonds in 3NT.

Hi,

I wont pass, my first decision, ... now I need to find
a bid.

2H - could be a lot less, and may end up playing 5-1,
instead of a 6-1 fit.

This leaves 2NT or 3D, take your pick.

With kind regards
Marlowe

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
