I see HA +DA + partner's side trick in defense.
I'm trying 5H.

I'd have bid 4 at my first turn. Now I pass...

Anything we do now is a guess. I would have started with xx and after
4s p could x to show near top or pass and at least we would have some
kind of useful information to work with and I would not be upset if
we suddenly found ourselves if 2h xx:))

If pard has the usual 6322 or 6331 with nothing but KQxxxx of hearts, there is a serious risk of going 4 down. If he has some side values you go -300 or -500.

I think I just pass.

Pass.

You should have made up your mind, what to do over 4S, when you decided to bid 3H.
3H told you, they did bid 4S with serious intention of making, if you had jumped to
4H, they may not be so sure.

At IMPs, you wont win a lot, at MP bidding is ok.

With kind regards

Although bidding 5H may turn out ok how do you justify allowing the opps yet another option? I do not see why you raised to 3H, what purpose did this serve? Bidding the same hand twice rarely turns out well.

I don't understand 3. Our side should make 6 tricks and a trick so 4 is down 3 in white for -500.

Just because i underbid last round, there is no reason to overbid to 5 now.

Thanks for all those that took part in the POLL.
Whatever your action inbetween, it is rather a question what do you do if the opps reach 4 which looks like a certainty.
The reason for this POLL is the following:

In this regard the AC was correct to roll back to 4.
This is what I was after.
