It is good that robots sit and help finish a hand when a player has left, but often then when I am host, the robot stays after the hand, and I cannot boot it, and players looking for a game then rarely come and sit to remove the robot.

This is a huge nuisance.

.. thx .. neilkaz ..

The robot is supposed to be removed automatically in this situation.

Barry, I assure you that sometimes the bots don't leave. I hope our programmers can program in an option to boot robots at the start of a new hand.

If you are playing on the web version of BBO you can just click the Remove button on the seat where robot is sitting, or click Table and then boot the robot from there, like you'd remove a player.

Diana, I am playing the web version and neither of these simple and basic options has ever worked for me to remove a robot. They just sit there at the start of the hand and do nothing. Can this somehow be because I have no money in my BBO account as I don't want to rent robots?

thx .. neilkaz ..

I think you are seeing an empty seat with the Robot button on it, not a robot who isn't leaving. If the table looks like this: http://snag.gy/prCtw.jpg there are no robots, so nothing to remove. You just have to wait for someone to join.

When a robot is sitting at the table, you'll see something like this (with a Remove option): http://snag.gy/U2vvI.jpg

OK Diana, I think I understand. However, there should always be a button to remove a bot. What happens is that my lone opponent sees that a robot as sat and doesn't realize that no robot is really there. Then they leave the table leaving me with no opps. Then as usual no one sits in a lone opp spot.

So a software update to boot these non existent bots would be appreciated.

thx .. neilkaz ..

Only the table host sees the "Robot" buttons, since only he can add a robot player.
