BBO alerts you with a beep for lots of things - your turn to bid, someone invites you to a match, someone sends you a private message, etc.

No sound effect is played when you are hosting a protected table and someone asks to join. Meaning while waiting for players, you can't switch tabs / do something else - you have to keep staring at the screen to make sure you don't miss them.

Can I have a beep please? :)

NB - you get a beep when hosting a team match. Just not a normal permission-required table in the MBC.
