What to bid in east?
Some software bid 1 nt with 2 c from west and a 3 d from east. (I did not understand if there are conventions below).
My parter bid 1 s and i pass.
Useful to bid dbl or overbid 2 D ?

I think it's at least partly a question of partnership style, but however it goes you should end up in game (either NT or ).
1 was arguably an underbid (I would bid 2), but you could hardly pass with 12 more hcp than you have shown so far.
There is logic in bidding 1NT and you could comfortably raise that to game.
I don't much like Double here, but you should still fall on your feet.

In balancing seat, a jump overcall should be intermediate - there's no point in preempting when you can pass. This hand is at the upper end for an intermediate jump overcall, but one can be maximum for their bid...

I think 1 is a big underbid - if you add a king, would you really just overcall with this in direct seat? Remember in balancing seat you borrow a king from your partner. (But you don't borrow a king for the purposes of a too big to overcall double - you use the intermediate jump overcall instead.)

2S

It is a max for the bid.

The important thing to remember, there are no preempts in 4th seat.
As it is, West should not pass a 1S overcall, he should bid 1NT, which
basically showes, what he has.
There are hands in the 13-14HCP range, that would make the 1S overcall,
e.g. hands with 5332 shape and this means for West, game is still possible,
i.e. should not give up.

If they have opened, you can make game with less than 25, you know, where to
go looking for the missing honors.

Either
1-p-p-1
?-1NT/2-p-2
p-4
or
1-p-p-2 (6+)
p-4
depending on style

I don't think the hand is too strong for 1, but 2 is more descriptive.

14 points is fine for a balancing 1NT overcall but this hand has too much playing strength, and I also find it bizarre to overcall 1NT with a good 6-card major.

In any case, West will bid something and you will reach game.

The others described it perfectly.

I will give you another hint.

To help you (and partner) assess those kind of situations, « borrow a K from partner’s hand » when to balance.

Same, to answer’s partner’s balancing call, do as you would do over a direct action, but don’t forget partner stole a K from your hand.

This works in most cases (except maybe the NT ladder).

As such, an ideal 8-count can reopen with a TOX, and 1 level suits should deny a good opening.

Here, the hand is therefore too strong for 1S. You could survive X followed by S bids, but 2S is probably better as it is much more descriptive if you use this call for intermediate hands (for the reasons explained by others). It is maximum with prime values but the KJ D behind opener (not knowing the 4 hands!) and lack of a 7th trump would make a highly invitational 3S bid too much.

Same, over the insufficient 1S bid by partner, 12 HCP are too much to pass. Partner can still have a « lousy » 5332 12 or 13-count and you should try to maintain the bidding live. And partner hopefully catches up now and you reach game.

I play intermediate jumps, so 2♠️ would be 11-15 and six card. Equally, as has been pointed out already, there are no pre-empts in the fourth seat, so 2♠️ has to be intermediate, even if you don’t play it in the second seat. D.
