I'm using Firefox 3.0.1 on Fedora 7. My firewall allows all outgoing connections.
Can you suggest a debugging approach?

I don't know if this is a BBOFlash issue, but this happened to me a second time this morning. I'm on an Intel Mac running Tiger, playing BridgeBase via Firefox. I think I won the tourney (money was deposited into my account), but BBO displayed something a little different. I can't figure out how to put a file screen shot in this post (help with that welcomed, too), so it has been mailed to fred@bridgebase.com, but the Flash results of the tourney claim the "winner" has 3.25 IMPs, as does second place, and then players are grouped by twos, with scores in mostly negative multiples of 0.25.
This has happened to me once before, playing Sky Club #926 one week ago, 8/9/08, at the same time as this tourney, and odd scores were posted. I can send you a screen shot for that tourney if you like.

It wasn't an issue with the web version of BBO, but it was a real issue, one that has been lurking about undetected for a while.
Only web-versions were affected, when viewing some Indy tourney leaderboards. The prizes/points etc were not affected. The fix will roll into service on Monday.
Thanks for the catch.

The next version (likely to be made available within the next few days) will be multilingual. I suspect it will work for you then.

Is there a summary of difference between BBO FLASH & BBO WIN?
I switched to Vista and seems the BBO display is nicer than in XP making me more willing to switch to BBO FLASH.

You have to make sure the scroll bar is ALL the way at the bottom in order for the chat to scroll automatically.
The scollbars in Flash are unfortunately more delicate in this regard than the scrollbars in Windows.

At some point (hopefully within the next couple of months) we are planning on creating an entirely new facility for creating team matches that (hopefully) will make it a lot easier to do this than it is in the Windows client.

The next version will show player names instead of NSEW in the bidding diagram.
Not being able to see your own profile when you click your own name is intentional, but I might change this.

The message will be corrected during the next software upgrade ( cpl of days ).
It was caused by an error we made during the process of preparing the web bbo for multilingual support.

Yes - at this point in time having the Windows client installed is necessary in order to view .lin files (bridge movies).

Thanks for the bug report, Helene.
So far I have been unable to replicate this, but I have been trying with the list of stars because I don't have very many friends
If you get a chance can you please try to do some more experimenting (including trying the list of stars) and let me know if you learn anything?
Thanks,
